AI traffic analytics

See the AI traffic your analytics misses.

AI crawlers don't run JavaScript, so analytics tools never see them. aeotime reads bot visits from your server and AI referral visits from GA4, so you know which pages AI engines fetch, where they fail, and what they send back.

What you get

What ai traffic & crawlers shows you

AI crawler analytics

OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot, Claude-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, Googlebot, Bingbot and more — requests per day, pages and last visit.

Search, live fetch or training

Every bot is labelled by what it does, so you can separate AI search indexing and live user fetches from training crawls.

Errors AI bots hit

404s, 403s and 5xx served to AI crawlers, by page and bot — pages that fail can't be cited.

Five-minute setup

Copy a snippet for Cloudflare Workers, Next.js or Express, or upload an Nginx, Apache or JSON access log. Only AI-bot requests are stored.

AI referrals from GA4

Sessions from chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai, gemini.google.com, claude.ai and Copilot, their landing pages and conversions.

Turned into actions

Crawler errors and missing AI search bots show up in your action plan with how to fix them.

Guide

Ai traffic analytics, explained

Why AI crawlers matter

Before ChatGPT, Perplexity or Claude can quote a page, a crawler has to fetch it — either to index it for AI search or live, because a user just asked. If that request is blocked by a firewall, served an error or never happens, the page can't be part of the answer.

Robots.txt only tells you what you intended. Server logs show what actually happened.

Why Google Analytics can't see them

Analytics tags run in the browser. Crawlers don't execute JavaScript, so they never trigger the tag. The only record of an AI crawler visit is on your server, CDN or hosting logs — which is exactly what aeotime reads.

What GA4 can see is the other half: people who click through from an AI answer. Connect GA4 and aeotime reports those AI referral visits alongside the crawler data.

Pricing

$99/mo. Every engine, every feature, unlimited seats.

FAQ

Questions

Does this send my visitors' data to aeotime?+

No. The snippets forward only requests whose user agent matches an AI crawler: time, path, status code and user agent.

Which log formats can I upload?+

Nginx and Apache combined logs, and JSON-lines exports from Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify and similar hosts, up to 20 MB per file.

Can bots fake their user agent?+

Yes. Crawlers are identified by user agent, so a small share of hits may come from bots pretending to be AI crawlers.
